Updates Journal

It has taken a while to get everything up and running, but I think I've got most everything in place now. I know some of the pictures probably aren't up yet, but I'll continue to work on it. Also, if anyone knows the URL for the campamericanfriends yahoo group, please email it to me. Thanks.

Hope you all had a great labor day. I don't really know why they call it labor day, cause I got out of class and my dad didn't have to work. Shouldn't they call it "No-labor day"? Just a thought :)

Well, that's all for now. I'm just sittin' here enjoying a home-made icee...Mmmm, mmm! My granny got me a snow-cone maker for my b-day and I got to take it home with me and use it early. Thanks, Granny! :)

* * *

I am really looking forward to seeing this site grow and become something both useful and fun. I want to say thanks to the people who have encouraged me in starting this site and gave me some cool ideas for the new beginning.

Have a look around and check back soon as I'll be updating each week. Don't forget to create a profile so our fellow "soldiers" can get to know you, and leave a line or two at the caption contest.

Most importantly keep our Nation and its leaders in your prayers and do your best to help try and turn America back to God!

The picture above of the American Flag does not belong to me, but was an email forward I received from a friend and thought it fit well with the reason I created this site. Many thanks to whoever took the picture. This is the text from the email forward:

This is a beautiful photo of a giant flag in Arizona.
The photo is authentic and UN-retouched.
The picture was taken on regular Kodak 35 mm film.
The person who took the picture couldn't believe the image created by the
sun's rays. Nice of them to share with the world!
